The Showpiece™ Berry is a modern, fragrant shrub rose known for its combination of "old-world" aesthetics and easy-care, disease-resistant characteristics. It was developed by the German breeders Werner and Reinhard Noack, the same family behind the well-known Flower Carpet® roses.
Key Characteristics
Appearance: Produces large, double, dark pink to magenta (berry-red) flowers. In cooler weather, the blooms can take on a smoky violet-pink hue.
Fragrance: It is noted for having a strong, pleasant fragrance, which is a standout feature of the Showpiece™ series.
Growth Habit: It grows as a compact, upright, and bushy shrub, typically reaching 2–3 feet (approx. 0.8–1.0 meters) in height and about 2 feet wide.
Performance: It is highly valued for being disease-resistant, drought-tolerant once established, and a repeat bloomer that flowers in flushes from spring through autumn.
