Key Characteristics
Fruit Profile: True to its name, this variety produces impressively large, oval fruits that can reach up to 1.5 – 2.0 lbs (1 kilo). The skin is vibrant pink with long green fins, while the interior features a crisp, white flesh with small edible seeds.
Flavor & Sweetness: It has a light, refreshing, and mildly sweet taste that many describe as similar to watermelon or kiwi. While it is not as sugary as some red hybrids, its clean flavor makes it a favorite for smoothies and fruit salads. Its Brix score usually falls between 12 and 16.
