Fruit Quality: It produces large, rounded fruits typically weighing between 1.0 to 2.0 pounds. The exterior is bright pink with short green fins, while the interior is a deep purple or magenta.
Flavor Profile: The taste is very sweet and refreshing, often described as having hints of plum, strawberry, or grape. It boasts a high sweetness level with an average Brix of 16.
Pollination: While often labeled as self-fertile, results can be inconsistent. Many growers recommend cross-pollinating with another variety (like H. polyrhizus) to ensure better fruit set and larger sizes.
