GA-866 jujube fruit is a large elongated fruit (about 1 1/2 inches in length) is noteworthy for its remarkably high sugar content. When candied and dried, the fruit resembles dates. Often jujube fruit is recognized as Chinese date. The Ga-866 jujube tree fruit ripen about same time as Lang jujube tree in fall. Jujubes trees do very well in hot interior regions and are extremely drought tolerant.
